FULTON — Sharon E. Merritt, 67, of county Route 57, Fulton, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at her residence.

Born in Oswego, June 23, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Hilda (Barrum) Gibson.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles Merritt, Nov. 22, 1999.

Sharon is survived by her son, Chad Merritt of Fulton; two daughters, Lisa Merritt and Jeanette (Jeremy) Eldred, both of Fulton; three brothers, Jan, Charles and Mark Gibson, all of Oswego; four sisters, Cindy Beshurie of Scriba, Dawn Eckenroyh of Connecticut, Denise Durval of Oswego, and Megan Teserario of Albany; three grandchildren, Paul and Olivia Knierman and Jimmy Merritt; one sister-in-law, Patricia (Joseph) Muscolino, of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, at the Young and Son Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home, 322 Oneida St., Fulton.
