BELFAST, Maine -

She was born June
20, 1920, in Oswego, to the late Michael and Margaret (Krol) Kuzawski.

Charlotte lived in Williamsburg, Va., for many years, where she was
an active member of the St. Bede’s Catholic Church as well as a
devoted community volunteer. Her favorite lifelong passion was golf,
achieving a hole in one well into her 70s. When not busy about the
community, Charlotte enjoyed politics and spending time with her
loving family.

Charlotte is survived by her son, Michael K. Johnson and wife Ann of
Union, Maine; two grandchildren; three sisters; and four brothers.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband in 1990, Maj. Gen.
Kenneth L. Johnson, U.S. Army, retired.

In keeping with Charlotte’s wishes, services will be private at
Arlington National Cemetery where she will be interred with her husband.

Memorial contributions in Charlotte’s memory may be made to a charity
of one own choice.
