Daniel E. Taylor, 55, a resident of 2548 Johnson Road in the town of Oswego, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008 at the Oswego Hospital.
Mr. Taylor was born in Oswego, the son of Norma (Guernsey) Taylor and the late Charles Taylor. He was a life resident.
He was the husband of Kim (Howard) Taylor.
He had been employed, for 10 years, as a molder with the Oswego Castings Co.
Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the US Navy.
He was an avid fan of the Oswego Speedway and of NASCAR and enjoyed boating and spending time on the water.
He is survived by his wife Kim, of the town of Oswego; his mother Norma of Sandy Pond; a daughter, Deborah (Ralph) Giberson of the town of Oswego; a son, Daniel H. (Melissa) Taylor of Oswego; 10 brothers; a sister; two granddaughters, Rose Giberson and Grace Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.
There are no calling hours.
