James Ferazzoli, 69, of Fulton, died Friday, May 2, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital, New York City.
He was the son of the late William and Mary (Viggiano) Ferazzoli of Fulton.
He remained a life resident of Fulton.
He retired as a sergeant from the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department Road Patrol after serving for 21 years.
Mr. Ferazzoli was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Oswego County Sheriff’s Silver Star.
He enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Mr. Ferazzoli was predeceased by his brothers, Henry, Thomas and William Jr. Ferazzoli; and his sister, Jean (Richard) Meeks.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Maureen (McGrath) Ferazzoli of Fulton; sons, James W. Ferazzoli of Fulton and Daniel J. (Melinda) Ferazzoli of Phoenix; his sisters, Dorothy (Andrew) Pascale of Liverpool, Josephine (George) Saceomanno of Fla., Fan (John) Bogwicz of California and Angie (Robert) Barry of Liverpool; his step-grandchildren, Kaylee, Jesse and Nicholas White; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m., Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc. and at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Church, where the Rev. Robert Stephenson will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
Calling hours will be conducted 4-7 p.m., Wednesday at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. Second St. South, Fulton.
