Dorothy E. Pepper, 68, of Volney, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton.

A native of Fulton, she was a life resident of the Fulton-Volney area.

Dorothy was the daughter of Leon and Gertrude (Parker) Weldon.

She was predeceased by a son, Nelson Pepper Jr., who died in 2005.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Nelson Pepper Sr. of Volney; her children, Christopher (Julie) Pepper and Carol (Scott) Pecoy both of Volney; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mabel (George) Reese of Somerset, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 6 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton with calling hours from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Volney.
