Elizabeth Ann Fague, 67, of Palmer Township, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008, in VNA Hospice Home of St. Luke’s, Bethlehem, Pa., after fighting a long, courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on June 27, 1940, in Oswego, the ninth child of the late Michael and Margaret (Krol) Kuzawski.
Elizabeth (Betty) graduated from Oswego High School in 1958, and attended SUNY at Oyster Bay and Syracuse University.
Betty and her husband, Anthony C. Fague, celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary last June. She was employed as an accounting manager by Fairchild Semiconductor Co. in Mountain View, Calif., before moving to Bethlehem Township in 1981.
Betty was a real estate agent for Paul Ford Agency and ran her own hardware distribution business before her first bout with cancer began in 1994. She was an avid golfer and gourmet cook.
She was a member of St. Jane Frances De Chantal Catholic Church in Palmer Township and was active in the Democratic Party.
In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her sisters, Irene Kuzawski of Oswego and Helen Todd of Florida; and brothers, Robert Kuzawski of Oswego, Joseph Kuzawski of Cicero, Edward Kuzawski of Tulsa, Okla., and Donald Kuzawski of Erie, Pa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, in the church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Palmer Township.
There are no calling hours.
Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St., Palmer Township.
In lieu of flowers, Elizabeth requested that donations be made to St. Jane’s Church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Easton, PA 18045.
