Robert Pagliaroli, 68, a resident of Simeon-Dewitt Apartments, Oswego, went to be in the loving arms of Jesus on June 21, 2008. He passed away at home surrounded by his family.


He was born in Oswego, on Nov. 15, 1939, the son of the late John and Rose (Giaquinto) Pagliaroli. He was a graduate of the Oswego High School, class of 1958 and Morrisville Agriculture College, class of 1961.


Bob owned and operated Bob’s Radio and TV Service before retiring after 29 years.


Mr. Pagliaroli served in the Army National Guard for several years.


He was a very active member of the Bible Baptist Church for many years. He held various positions at the church from treasurer, trustee, deacon, Sunday School teacher, Awana leader and taking care of the church property.


Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He lived his life based on biblical studies. He restored a 1934 Antique Ford which he enjoyed driving around town.


He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed his time working on his landscaping.


Surviving are his wife of 44 years, the former Linda Robinson; two sons, Robert C. (Leah) Pagliaroli of East Syracuse, Stephen (Katie) Pagliaroli of Oswego; seven brothers, James (Robin) Pagliaroli of Xenia, Ohio, George (Jeanie) Mazzoli, Frank (Kathleen) Mazzoli and John (Gloria) Mazzoli all of Oswego, Edward Mazzoli of New Haven, Angelo (Elizabeth) Mazzoli of Oswego, Thomas (Lillian) Piano of Binghamton; two sisters, Susan Cernaro of Oswego and Frances (Robert) Laurie of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and three grandchildren, Robbie, Kamryn and Seth.


He was predeceased by his infant son, Thomas Pagliaroli; two brothers, Louis Mazzoli and Joseph Piano; and two sisters, Florence Mazzoli and Mary Fetherolf.


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Bible Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.


Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 Tuesday at the Dowdle Funeral Home, 154 E. Fourth St., Oswego.


In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to the Bible Baptist Church
