Eugene Tracy, 85 of Bradenton, Fla. , died suddenly, June 23, 2008 at his home. He was born in Fulton and was a resident of Fulton for most of his life before moving to Florida 25 years ago.
He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He served on the Fulton board of education for several years. He was past president and a life member of the Fulton Polish Home, a founding member of the Gaucho’s Drum and Bugle Corps and a member of the Florida Elks.
Mr. Tracy was an original member of the Fulton Athletic Booster Association. He enjoyed bowling and golfing.
He is survived by four children, Eugene J. Tracy of Fulton, Gail (Raymond) Godici of Mexico, Judy Tracy and Laurie Tracy both of Syracuse; two sisters, Helen Regan of Baldwinsville and Sophie Hart of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. South, Fulton with the Rev. Moritz Fuchs officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery at a date to be announced.
Calling hours will be held from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
