Doris A. Denny, 62, a resident of 736 state Route 104 B, Mexico died on June 30, 2008 at the Oswego Hospital.


Born in Doodletown, she was a daughter of Amy Stallter and the late William Bailey. She attended Doodletown and Highland Falls Schools.


Doris was employed with the West Point Laundry and the Helen Hayes Hospital.
Surviving besides her mother are her husband Mark Denny; two sons, Michael (Lori) Treadway of Aylett Virginia, Kevin Treadway of Colorado; a daughter, Michelle(Randy)Bond of Missouri ; a brother, Raymond (Karen) Bailey of Georgia; a sister Brenda (Thomas) Miller of Fort Montgomery; three stepchildren, Mark (Carrie) Denny of Mexico, Angela (Jorge) Allazo of Germany, Ashley (Tim) Denny of Palermo; eight grandchildren, Katelyn, Bayler, Autumn, Ashley, Ryan, Dylan, Teal and Hayley; and several nieces and nephews.


She was predeceased by her brother Douglas Bailey.


Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Lycoming United Methodist Church.


Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.


The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dowdle Funeral Home, 154 E. Fourth St., Oswego.


In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to the Lycoming United Methodist Church Building Fund, County Route 29N and Miner Road, Lycoming N.Y. 13093.
