To the editor:
Congratulations to Superintendent David Fischer; many thanks to Bellingham, Mass.
Advice to the Oswego school board:
1. Pick someone from this area with long ties here who has local interest at heart.
2. One year at a time contract (produce or get out).
3. No “buy out” clauses.
Anybody worth their salt who wants the job should be willing to prove themselves and not try to grab the “Golden Parachute.” We have great people in our district, we don’t need headhunters to look elsewhere as in the past for people who don’t work out.
